(But before the marathon begins, the Theluji festival starts earlier, so you can also experience this event too)

The trekking adventure starts and ends in Kilembe, a tranquil town at the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains. It serves as the ideal gateway and conclusion for this thrilling expedition.
What do I need to pack for the trek?
Sturdy waterproof trekking boots, Warm clothing (layers recommended) and rain gear., Snacks and energy bars for the trails., A reusable water bottle or hydration pack., A high-quality camera for capturing stunning landscapes.
When is the best time to visit the Rwenzori Mountains?
Dry Seasons: December to February and June to August for clear skies and easier trails. Wet Seasons: March to May and September to November for lush greenery and fuller waterfalls, although trails may be more challenging.
