3 DAY MURCHISON FALLS

After your morning breakfast, our driver guide will pick you up and take you on a long but rewarding journey to Murchison Falls National Park. The journey is rewarding in a way that you go through several villages as you gaze at the green beautiful vegetation and several roadside fruit and vegetable markets. Our first stopover will be at the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino trekking. The trek can take anything from a few minutes to an hour depending on where the Rhinos are located within the sanctuary. You will receive a briefing from the ranger guide and start on your Rhino trek thereafter. After this experience, you will have lunch and then proceed to the national park where you arrive later that evening.

After an early breakfast you shall for a 3-4 hour game drive. Expect to see animals including Giraffes, Lions, Jackson hartebeest, Uganda Kob, Elephants and a lot of birds in the savannah. You will then go back for lunch and thereafter go on a boat cruise to the bottom of the Murchison Falls. As you enjoy the cool breeze on the cruise, take your time and look out for hippos, Nile crocodiles and a number of unique bird species.

We will drive to the top of Murchison falls where the 1 km wide Nile forces itself into a 7-meter gap to a thunderous roar – known as the most powerful falls. There is a resident beautiful rainbow formed making a contrast with the crashing water. It is here that you will have a clear view of the mystic falls and take those wild photos that you will hold unto for a lifetime. After this experience, we will proceed to Kampala.
