1. Giraffes’ are the tallest mammal in the world. They can grow up to 6 meters. Even a newborn giraffe is taller than most humans.
2. A giraffe’s neck is too short to reach the ground, as a result, it has to awkwardly spread its front legs or kneel to reach the ground for a drink of water
3. They can run 35 miles an hour over a short distance
4. Giraffes only need to drink once every few days since most of their water comes from the plants they eat
