DAY 1 : TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK VIA MBARARA After breakfast the driver will pick you up from Kampala and you will embark on a long but rewarding journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have a stopover at Igongo Cultural Centre, Mbarara for lunch. It is here, that you will get a chance to explore the Ankole museum and insight on Ankole culture. It is after this that you will proceed to Kasenyi Safari Camp, Queen Elizabeth National Park for a candle lit dinner and overnight stay |

DAY 2 : MORNING GAME DRIVE AND KATWE SALT LAKE TOUR After having an early morning breakfast, you will go for a game drive in the Kasenyi Plains. While on this game drive, you will stand a chance to stumble across a number of wildlife species such as; spotted hyenas, buffaloes, leopards, elephants. Enjoy lunch and then go for a tour around Lake Katwe to learn about the formation of the lake, the formation of salt, how salt is harvested, risk factors of salt mining and the economic benefits it has on the community. DAY 3 : MORNING BOAT CRUISE AND BIRD WATCHING ALONG THE KAZINGA CHANNEL Today, you will take a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel. The famous channel connects Lake Albert and Lake George with various aquatic life like numerous crocodiles and hippos. Get a chance to also see the various water birds like black crake, the great white pelican, African shoebill and the Jacana. Return at the camp for dinner and overnight |

DAY 4 : CHIMPANZEEE TREKKING IN KYAMBURA GORGE AND RETURN TO KAMPALA After having an early morning breakfast, head out for chimp trekking/primate walk that involves walking through the jungles in search for the primates. This trek will go for about 2 - 4 hours and once you have spotted these primates, you will be limited to only 1 hour in the presence of the endangered species after which you will return to your accommodation for lunch and embark on the journey back to Kampala |
