During this Gorilla trekking and Chimpanzee trekking Safari in Uganda, you will have an encounter with the worlds endangered Mountain Gorillas and our close cousins the Chimpanzees in the Tropical forests of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Kibale Forest National Park. On day one, you will transfer from Kampala to Kibaale Forest National Park. On day two, you will engage in Chimpanzee Trekking in kibale Forest and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On day three, you will engage in a Game drive and a Boat cruise and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park on day four and then engage in Gorilla Trekking on day five and will transfer back to Kampala on the sixth day.
DAY 1 : TRANSFER TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK Today, our driver guide will pick you up and you will go on a long but rewarding journey to Kibale National Park, Western Uganda. The park has a protecting moist evergreen rainforest and is famously known for being a home to chimpanzees. You will arrive in time for lunch after which you will check into your accommodation. Take your time to relax from the long journey as you enjoy the beautiful surrounding views. It is at this accommodation that you will have dinner and an overnight stay too. |

DAY 2 : CHIMPANZEE TREKKING – TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK Embark on the chimpanzee trekking activity after having an early morning breakfast. These primates share 97% of man’s DNA and are referred to as man’s closest relatives. The trek starts with a briefing from your ranger guide about your chimpanzee trek. You will then head into the forest after briefing to locate the chimpanzees. After locating the chimpanzees you are allowed to have one hour with them. You will then return to your accommodation for lunch and thereafter transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. |

DAY 3 : GAME DRIVE AND BOAT CRUISE After an early morning breakfast you will go on a morning game drive through the Kasenyi Plains. It is here that you might stumble across a number of wildlife species such as elephants, antelopes, warthogs. You will have lunch and thereafter go on a two hour boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This channel is one that divides Lake George from Lake Edward. As you enjoy the cool lake breeze, look out for hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and different bird species. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. |

DAY 4 : TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK Enjoy your early morning breakfast and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Southwestern Uganda. The journey is a thrilling one as you go through the rolling and terraced hills of the Switzerland of Uganda, Kampala. The park is located at the edge of the Albertine Rift and is well known as the home to the gentle giants, the Mountain Gorillas. It is also known for its primeval forest that harbors the 400 mountain gorillas and other primates. You will check into your accommodation |

DAY 5 : GORILLA TREKKING After having an early morning breakfast, our driver guide will drive you to Ruhiga Park Headquarters where you will meet your ranger guide for briefing on the dos and don’ts while out in the forest. It is after this briefing that you will head into the forest for the trek. The trek can take between 30minutes to 7 hours depending on where the gorilla family is situated. Once you have located a family, you will be allowed 1 hour with them observing their behavior and taking photographs. You will then return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation, dinner and overnight stay. |

DAY 6 : TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA Having lunch enroute, our driver guide will drive you back to Kampala and drop you off at the hotel where you will be accommodated for your overnight stay. |
